What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at EBY, INC.?
M.H. Eby, Inc., a leading manufacturer of aluminum trailers & truck bodies, is looking to add technicians to our service department at our Laurel facility. These positions work on both new and used trailers, made by EBY and other manufacturers.
Monday - Friday ** 45 Hours per week work schedule

Requirements are the proper use of hand tools, tape measures, power tools, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work as a team. Prior experience with trailer maintenance, brakes, electrical, metal fabrication, and systems diagnosis is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
Job duties may include performing inspections of trailers per DOT, general trailer/truck body service, brake repairs, wiring repairs, welding, fabrication, as well as other types of mechanical repairs on livestock semi/gooseneck trailers, grain trailers, and aluminum truck bodies.
Prior experience with trailer maintenance, brakes, electrical, metal fabrication, and systems diagnosis is preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude is helpful. Must possess the ability to work as a team.
