Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient-centered care, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide direct and indirect patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Create and maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic milieu for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, adhering to age-specific protocols and clinical guidelines.
- Participate in Early Response codes and Dr. Strong codes, attending PMT refresher trainings as needed.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Connecticut.
- Certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) upon hire and maintenance throughout employment.
- Training in PMT and de-escalation techniques, with certification within 6 months of hire.
- Basic computer skills and effective communication abilities.
