What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Course Maintenance Worker Seasonal position at Echo Hills Golf Course?
Definition -
Entry level position that works under the Echo City Administrators office and is directed on daily duties by the Golf Course Manager and/or Public Works Supervisor. Performs a variety of unskilled or semiskilled maintenance work and operates a variety of tools and equipment in operations of repair for the maintenance of golf course irrigation, lawns and all other golf course grounds needs. Work will be performed with independence after routine is learned.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to -
- Performs all aspects of ground and golf course maintenance
- Operates light equipment such as tractors and riding lawn mowers. Uses power and hand tools such as chain saws
- Assists with installation and repairs to sprinkler, irrigation and water systems
- Performs all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications -
- Basic understanding of grounds maintenance and irrigation
- Current drivers license
- Perform manual labor which entails frequent lifting and carrying of bulky items
- Operate and use hand and power tools
- Operate all types of riding and push mowers
- Ability to work independently and with others as directed
Education - High School Graduate or GED
Experience - 3 to 6 months of experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping or a related field.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $18.00 per hour
