Key Responsibilities
- Develop Data Solutions: Analyze, Design and build applications and data pipelines using AWS, Databricks, Redshift, and Snowflake
- ETL/ELT Development: Define standards and procedures for, and design data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes for both batch and real-time data
- Database Management: Design DataLakes and Data Warehouses, and work with databases like Oracle and SQL Server
- SQL Expertise: Write advanced SQL queries, including performance tuning, to support data analysis and application needs
- Troubleshooting & Support: Evaluate and resolve production issues and provide daily technical support to team members and collaborate with offshore team as required
- Full-Cycle Development: Handle the entire software development lifecycle for data warehouse applications, from requirements analysis to implementation, testing, and debugging
- System Integration: Integrate, enhance, and fine-tune Enterprise Data Warehouses to consolidate data from various sources
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT is required; Master's degree is preferred
- 5 years of experience in Data Warehouse, Big Data or Data Management environments
- 3 years of experience with AWS Cloud services or similar
- 1 year experience in reporting tools like Orbit or Tableau
- Experienced in SQL, Python, and Linux/Unix shell scripting
- Understanding of RDBMS and modern Data Management concepts
- Skilled in analyzing data to meet business goals and resolve complex IT issues
- Excellent communication, problem solving & documentation skills
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Control-M and Databricks
- Perform duties independently and collaboratively in Agile framework
- Preferred to have domain knowledge on Telecommunication or Financial systems
