What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mass Tort Litigation Associate position at Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott LLC?
Eckert Seamans is a full-service national law firm with a strong reputation and a history of success spanning over 65 years. With approximately 300 lawyers across a network of 15 offices, we provide clients with proactive, solution-oriented business and litigation counsel. We seek a Mass Tort Litigation Associate for our Boston, MA; Wilmington, DE; or Philadelphia, PA offices. The attorney hired for this position will work directly with partners and other associates on litigation matters in a fast-paced, active environment and directly communicate and interact with clients.
Qualifications:
- At least five years of mass tort experience
- Experience with asbestos will be strongly considered
- Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting skills
- Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Competence and desire to manage a variety of active matters independently
- Court and deposition experience strongly preferred
- Licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, New York, or Pennsylvania
