FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Farm Manager, responsible for creating family memories for each and every guest.
FUNTIONS OF THE JOB:
Essential Functions:
- Communicate with Farm Manager.
- Welcome guests to the farm and answer any questions that they might have.
- Direct guests to other areas on the farm.
- Handle cash, check, credit card and gift certificate payments
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Follow all guidelines and procedures outlined in department and health and safety manuals and as set by the Farm Manager.
- Communicate with the rest of the farm employees ensuring that each guest has a fun and safe experience
- Performs other duties as needed or assigned
Physical/Visual Activities or Demands
1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop and crouch, push, pull, reach, grasp, feel, talk and hear.
2. Generally light physical effort. The employee is required to lift more than 50 lbs. rarely and/or 5 to 25 lbs. occasionally.
3. Specific vision abilities required by this job include clarity of vision at a distance of 20 inches or less with the ability to judge distance and space relationships along with adjusting the eye to bring objects into sharp focus.
Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions: Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.
Working conditions may be hot, cold or other – completely dependent on outdoor conditions during the shift you work.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge: Prior customer service experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities: This may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, which are furnished in written and oral form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving standard and nonstandard situations.

- Follow and interpret quantity recipes to prepare a volume of quality bakery items while maintaining proper temperature and sanitary conditions.
