We are seeking a Production Operator to be responsible for operating production and packaging equipment.
This position has the following schedules available:
· Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm.
· Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.
· Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.
· Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for independent set up, operation, and changeover of automatic, semi-automatic, and manual equipment.
- Adhere to all company established Good Manufacturing Practices, SOPs, and sanitation standards to ensure the highest quality of food safety and sanitation.
- Inspect and sign off on equipment readiness before line start-up, shut down, and changeover.
- Monitor and adjust equipment during production to ensure the product meets spec - regulate speed, size, temperature, etc.
- Follow standard operating procedures and complete daily production paperwork.
- Clean, sanitize and maintain equipment between production runs.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Operate a forklift to prepare raw materials and move finished goods.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- One year of related experience in food manufacturing, preferably food processing or food production, or an equivalent combination of education and experience needed to perform the functions of the job.
- Experience with GMP, HACCP, and/or Preventive Maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to drive and operate a forklift – stand up and sit-down forklift experience preferred.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods and regularly lift 50 lbs.
- Must be available to work scheduled shifts – Day shift, Monday-Friday.
- Ability to multi-task, operate independently, and demonstrate initiative.
- Ability to read and understand written directions.
- Possess a good attitude and exhibit flexibility and willingness to perform tasks as needed.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.

Work Environment
Production Operators work in the manufacturing facility with routine exposure to loud noise, sanitation chemicals, and allergens such as, but not limited to, nuts, dairy, soy, eggs, fish, and wheat.
