Warehouse Custodian

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing custodial duties that ensure the cleanliness and functionality of our facility. Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards throughout the warehouse.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and maintaining various flooring surfaces to ensure safety and appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break areas, offices, and common spaces with attention to detail.
• Assist with janitorial duties related to commercial cleaning and industrial cleaning projects as needed.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or hazards related to lighting, plumbing, or structural issues.
• Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and efficiently while following health and safety protocols.
• Ensure all custodial tasks are completed promptly to support a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial work, janitorial services, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and commercial cleaning procedures.
• Prior experience in residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor scrubbers safely.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders if necessary. Pay: $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
