Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Armed Security Supervisor to join and lead our patrol team. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees overseeing security operations. Your primary role in addition to enforcing security protocols will be monitoring reports, responding to incidents, checking in on officers, and reporting issues of note up the chain of command.
Duties:
- Monitor changes on the property during patrols to identify potential security threats
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related incidents
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Conduct regular foot patrols of designated properties
- Monitor and approve reports for your assigned shift
- Coach and Train new staff
- Perform Disciplinary action when required to uphold Company Policies and Procedures.
- Perform nightly patrol routes throughout the Portland/Vancouver Metro area.
Position is responsible for providing their own Duty Gear:
- Firearm (of Known and Reputable Brand), Duty Holster, Magazines, & Duty Ammo
- Protective Vest (Carrier & Ballistic Inserts)
- Black Boots or Appropriate Duty Footwear
- Duty Belt
- Miscellaneous Pouches and associated Gear (Handcuffs & Zak Tool, ASP/Baton, Flashlight, Gloves or other PPE)
