- POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Administer training for Revere Employees, newly hired Revere employees, outside contractor's staff, subcontracted providers and staff of other agencies who provide or coordinate services to Revere Smelting & Refining Corporation.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct new hire/environmental training (1-2 times per month or as needed and as schedule permits).
- Conduct annual/environmental training (1-2 times per month).
- Develop training schedule with HR manager to meet Company needs.
- Fit testing of all new hires and employees in training.
- Fit testing/ respirator checks of all employees with elevated lead levels
- Fit testing/ respirator checks of all employee s with concerns.
- Coordinate with sanitation to prepare all newly hired employees for work readiness.
- Work with JTE, HR and Safety managers to improve current training programs and new hire safety processes.
- Coordinate policy signings with HR Manager.
- Present HR manager with training requisition forms for approval.
III. PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- PC skills.
IV. POST-HIRE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Work with management to develop hands on safety training program- longer and more valuable.
- Automate current Safety training for annual and new hire trainings. Set up software and kiosks.
- Become a train the trainer for mobile equipment operation.
- Attend outside and in-house training sessions as needed, desired or recommended to become fully competent trainer.

Perform hands on training for:
- Fire extinguishers
- Torch usage
- Overhead crane β remote control.
- Environmental training applicable to the job.
- Safety training for applicable equipment.
- Job instructional training.
- ISO 9001 familiarization.
- ISO 14001 awareness, objectives and targets, office significant environmental impacts.
V. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Salary : $40,000 - $41,500
