Operations and Sales Manager (Construction) Reno, NV

Salary starting at $80,000 plus commissions / bonuses

Eco-Pan is a leading service provider of concrete washout services. Specializing in on-the-job-site solutions for concrete washout needs including handling, treatment, recycling, and safe transport of the washout for Commercial, Residential, Municipality and heavy DOT / Infrastructure projects. We are an incredibly stable and growing company.

Essential Job Functions :

Branch Operations : Oversee overall branch operations with a Tenacious attitude and a driven passion to focus on growth and efficiency, including operating the crane trucks. Develop and maintain relationships with top management of the national and regional accounts located within the region

Sales Management : Drive and sell company services to new and existing customers and expand channels to market with strategic key accounts and initiatives. Grow sales and find new markets and channels within the region.

Team Leadership : Once trained and qualified, this individual will Hire, train, and supervise all branch personnel, conducting monthly reviews with associates.

Service Training : Educate all staff on policies and philosophies to enhance customer satisfaction. Must have previous experience, knowledge, and emphasis on safety, preventive maintenances and fleet utilizations

Asset Management : Safeguard company assets, including inventory, accounts receivables, and other fixed assets.

Budgeting : Create and manage monthly, quarterly, yearly P&L budgets while ensuring efficient resource use.

Construction Knowledge : General concrete and / or construction in both sales and management roles. Stay informed about all environmental rules and regulations. Previous experience in operating heavy DOT trucks and cranes.

Administrative Job Functions

Accounting Oversight : Manage branch accounting functions, including billing, pricing accuracy, and timely submissions.

Inventory Management : Place and receive inventory orders accurately, maintaining an up-to-date inventory system.

Expense Tracking : Confirm expense accuracy and coding for budget entries.

Staff Management : Collect and track timecards, sick leave, and vacation records for each associate.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions :

Travel as permitted throughout the region.

Operate crane trucks in a safe manner.

Work indoor and outdoor settings, office settings relatively free from environmental conditions or hazards; must tolerate the working environment with outside temperatures that include excessive heat, cold, wind, and precipitation.

Occasional lifting of supplies and materials up to 20 lbs.

Navigate construction sites include walking on uneven terrain, cleated walkways, wire mesh etc.

Ability to sit for extended periods.

Reach to answer phones and communicate effectively.

Walk and move about as necessary for the role.

Hear and respond to communications in person and via phone.

Bend and stand as required for job functions.

Qualifications :

Previous experience in branch management, sales and / or similar roles.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Proficient in budgeting and financial oversight.

Education and Experience Requirements :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent.

Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in successful business management at a branch or profit center with profit and loss responsibility.

Skills : Strong leadership, motivational, organizational, and communication skills.

Background & Drug Screening : Ability to pass all background screening and pre-employment drug screens

Licensing : Possess a valid CDL (A or B) driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with washout construction and / or concrete pumping.

Company Vehicle : Provided with Company vehicle

Paid Time Off : 2 weeks PTO and 6 (seven) paid holidays including the day after Thanksgiving.

Salary / Commissions / Bonuses : Base pay at around $80,000. Opportunities for quarterly and yearly commissions / bonuses up to 25%.
