Job Description : Healthcare Risk Analyst
Overview of the Position : ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider is seeking a Healthcare Risk Analyst to provide supportive services for our client in Falls Church, VA.
The ECOMPEX career position supports the following :
- Process medical malpractice claims and assist with malpractice case management.
- Review monthly medical malpractice payment reports.
- Work with medical facilities to ensure documents are sent properly.
- Assist risk manager to prepare minutes.
- Prepare claim summaries and notification letters to involved healthcare providers.
- Review, update, and edit medical malpractice claims.
- Maintain a system of records.
- Collaborate with other functional personnel in adverse event forums to analyze patient safety events and adverse events in order to develop process improvement activities and disseminate clinical lessons learned.
Minimum Qualifications :
Primary work location : Defense Health Agency (Falls Church, VA) / Hybrid
Travel Expectations : Travel is not required for this position.
Position Type : Hybrid Work Schedule, Salaried position.
