Production Supervisor - Nights

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a manufacturing facility, with hands-on experience in assembly line processes and mechanical knowledge. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow on the assembly line.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the manufacturing facility.
• Collaborate with other departments, including quality control and warehouse teams, to optimize operations.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various fabrication tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance to management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in a Paper Manufacturer preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Familiarity with assembly line operations and warehouse processes.
• Proficient in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in managing production tasks.
