Key Responsibilities
General Affairs & Office Operations
- Foster a positive team atmosphere while embodying and upholding Ecoplastic America’s Core Values.
- Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and office systems to support efficient operations.
- Establish and maintain an efficient office environment, including procurement of office furniture, supplies, and services.
- Handle procurement of all office supplies and manage office services to enhance service levels and cost efficiency.
- Negotiate supplier agreements and manage contracts; ensure regular reviews, competitive bidding, and invoice accuracy.
- Review and understand contract terms and assess operational impacts on company policies and procedures.
- Recognize operational issues and take prompt action to resolve current problems and prevent future challenges.
- Assist in coordinating company events and activities.
- Manage distribution of daily mail and overnight packages.
- Demonstrate strong human resources management capabilities, supporting consistent HR practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, HR, Finance, Legal, and Employee Relations teams to develop multi-site strategies and policies.
- Ensure alignment and consistency in employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Motivate team members through transparent, consistent communication and trust-building with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support company safety initiatives and consistently achieve safety objectives.
- Manage temporary apartment lease contracts for expatriates.
- Assist with school admissions for expatriate employees’ children.
- Handle administrative procedures related to SSN and driver’s license applications.
- Review and manage mobile phone plans and related payments.
- Interpret and translate written materials as needed.
- Complete special projects and assignments as delegated by management.
- Support leadership in setting and monitoring performance metrics and organizational goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (or foreign equivalent) is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a General Affairs Manager or in a closely related role.
- At least 1 year of experience in an industrial plastic manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in human resources management.
- Demonstrated ability to set and monitor performance metrics.
- Strong understanding of administrative processes, procedures, standards, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
