The Physician Recruiter will provide recruitment processes of physicians and advanced practice providers for all ECU Health entities and for East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine.

As a Physician Recruiter, You Will
- Analyze and propose productivity and incentive plans for employed/contracted physicians
- Assists with the development and analysis of physician manpower needs assessments
- Provide assistance in procuring locum tenens coverage for ECU Health and regional needs
- Communicating efficiently with employers and employees ensuring the needs of both are met in a timely and effective manner
- Development of candidate pipeline through working relationships with schools, residency programs & medical societies/associations on identification of physicians seeking employment
- Pre-screening candidates, coordinating on-site interviews, face-to-face interviewing and collection of feedback from interview panel
- Establishing a rapport with candidates
- Four year degree in Business or health related field (preferred), or higher
- One to two years experience in physician recruitment experience for hospitals or physician practices
- Experience should include candidate sourcing, cold calling, contact development, contract development and negotiation, and site visit logistics
- Two to three years experience in direct physician pharmaceutical sales may be substituted for the physician recruitment experience requirement
- 40 hours a week
- Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm) with some afterhours and recruitment events
- Hybrid () - Required to work in office at least 1 day per week
