Job Overview:
1.0 BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Responsible to coordinate the activities of manufacturing quality assurance including monitoring and inspection of the manufacturing lines and processes.
2.0 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Disseminate quality concepts throughout the manufacturing areas.
· Develops and initiates methods for inspection, testing, and adequate feedback to the processes.
· Develop documentation for set up, production and quality checks for all processes.
· Ensure the achievement of standard quality levels related to components received from suppliers.
· Assists in developing and maintaining ISO 9001 system related to the manufacturing processes.
· Establish and maintain program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production, testing and measurement equipment.
· Instruct workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
· Analyzes and resolves process/quality problems or assists workers in solving process/quality problems.
Develop, execute, and analyze quality-reporting measures for the department and for the plant,
· Ensure proper usage and maintenance of the company assets including but not limited to, measurement devices, tools, gages, fixtures, equipment, computers.
3.0 POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Education:
- Preferred High School diploma or equivalent.
- Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
· Experience:
- Desired minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in Quality.
· Language:
- Fluent in English.
· Skills:
- Abroad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control
- Knowledge of inspection control methods, techniques, and documentation
- Fully capable on computer usage / Microsoft Office / QT9 / Gage Track/ Oracle
- Understanding of the manufacturing environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- In depth knowledge of quality systems, policies and procedures and the ability to apply that knowledge to the manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge on proper usage of standard mechanical and electrical instruments, not limited but including functional gauges, test equipment, Coordinate Measurement Machines.
- ISO 9001 Knowledge.
