What are the responsibilities and job description for the Eye Care Technician position at Eden Prairie Eye Care?
Independently owned optometry office looking to add to our team. We are looking for a reliable person to assist the doctor with driving the business while providing our patients with great customer service.
Experience is preferred but not required - we will train the right person!
The ability to multitask, computer literacy, strong interpersonal and customer service skills are a must.
Duties and Responsibilities: Perform preliminary eye screenings, collect and review patient demographic and health histories, contact lens insertion and removal classes, ordering and stocking contact lenses, assist the front desk, scheduling appointments, collecting co-pays and other payments, and making follow-up appointments, restock equipment and supplies, closing procedures including disinfecting and maintaining equipment, a limited amount of medical billing and coding, other duties as assigned.
We are looking for someone that wants to become established in this field! We can help train and provide education!
Looking for weekend availability along with some weekday/evenings if desired.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
