About the Role
We are seeking a Shipping Coordinator for company orders. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, speed and efficiency, and excellent communication to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor order status for specialty and major accounts.
- Manage routing and vendor guides for assigned accounts.
- Process orders using EDI systems.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints via email.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues.
- Prepare invoices and bills of lading.
- Review and follow up on daily open shipments.
- Collaborate with warehouse and other departments to meet shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping coordination or related roles.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and time sensitive shipping dates
- Comfortable using computers and order processing systems.
- Familiarity with apparel industry processes is a plus.
- Experience working with routing guides and shipping portals, as well as FedEx, UPS, and USPS
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
