Description 

Edgesource is seeking an Intel Analyst to support our team at USAICoE CIO/G6 task efforts in Ft. Huachuca, AZ. In this role, the selected candidate develops scenario-based, simulation-driven capstone exercises following Army and TRADOC approved models (i.e. Decisive Action Training Environment). The candidate will help prepare, and maintain documents related to Simulation and Exercise Support including, but not limited to; Order of Battle (OB) and Modification Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE), Operations Orders (OPORDs), Operations Plans (OPLANs), “Road-to War” documents, Master Scenario Events Lists (MSELs), Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Plans, Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) documentation, personality background information, finished Intelligence products and other documents, as missions and exercises require. You will provide automated and White Cell scripting Exercise support, as required, to ICoE courses capstone training exercises, practical exercises (PEs), and other training events that require stimulation of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) systems. You will develop exercise scenarios in the Stand Alone Suite (SAS) of the Multi Resolution Federation – Brigade (MRF-B). Conduct systems testing, and modification of simulations and Distributed Common Ground Station – Army (DCGS-A) databases and systems based on customer requirements. You will also Provide critical insight to software developers for changes needed or requested by the customer in support of their simulation needs. Some shift work is required.


Exercise Support Specialist tasks during exercise operations include, maneuvering units in the MRF-B according to script and/or instructor guidance, populating DCGS-A systems with message traffic and Operational Graphics, responding to requests for information, responding to instructor approved tasking and collection requests, and providing ad-hoc adjustments to facilitate the completion of training objectives. Regularly document exercise processes and TTP’s, perform basic systems and software troubleshooting on student user accounts and systems. Monitor student use of applications, maintain and reset student accounts. Submit and track trouble tickets for issues that cannot be resolved at the Exercise Support Specialists level.


Position Requirements 

Essential qualifications for a successful candidate include: 

  • Bachelor's in Science degree AND a minimum of 2 years of related experience. An additional 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement.
  • Army Intelligence background.
  • Creative and flexible problem solving skills.
  • Familiarity with the United States Message Text Formats (USMTF), and other reporting formats.
  • Knowledge of general Order of Battle concepts, terms, and symbology.
  • Strong commitment to a team environment.
  • Capacity to work unsupervised.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.  
  • Candidate must have a current/active Top Secret/SCI clearance

 

Preferred qualifications following area are considered an asset:    

  • Knowledge of military intelligence software tools including DCGS-A and ArcGis. 
  • Familiarity with ISR collection management. 
  • CompTIA certifications such as Network Plus and Security Plus.
