Summary:
Responsible for the repair, overhaul and preventative maintenance of all slot machines to ensure optimal operation. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and Edgewater Casino Resort policies and procedures.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the floor maintenance and repairs, as well as the break-down, relocation and re-set-up of machines and stands to be relocated
- Brings dispute and unusual guest activities to the attention of the shift manager
- Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service
- Cooperates and communicates with fellow team members in all departments and always exhibits mutual respect and consistently projects a positive, helpful image/attitude
- Ensures that all Nevada Gaming Control regulations are followed and enforced
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A minimum of one to two years slot technical experience preferred
- Must have a high school diploma (or equivalency) Electronics Degree preferred
- Experience in troubleshooting and overall maintenance of data communication systems is preferred
- Equivalent experience in related systems will be considered
- Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of gaming equipment repair and can perform these necessary functions in a timely manner and with minimal/no supervision
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to communicate effectively in a one-on-one format as well as group situation
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to operate computer equipment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess excellent people skills
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
