Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Test Engineer opportunity in Carlsbad, NM to support the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP).

Per Diem Is Available For Those Who Qualify.
The Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is the nation’s only permanent nuclear waste repository for defense-generated transuranic (TRU) waste generated from Department of Energy (DOE) sites across the country. Waste is permanently isolated over 2,000 feet underground in deep salt beds.
Job Duties
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent is required.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ related experience.

Job Duties
- Support SSCVS commission, overseeing air filtration, ductwork and damper inspections and performance acceptance.
- Conduct in-place testing of HEPA/charcoal filters and system air flow verification in nuclear settings.
- Develop and execute test procedures aligned with ANSI/ASME N509/N510/N511 standards.
- Schedule and coordinate field tests for clients.
- Manage corrective action documentation and resolution during critical acceptance phases.
