Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Work Control Planner 3 opportunity for our customer in Los Alamos, NM to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Per diem: Available for those who qualify.
Location: 100% Onsite, TA55/TA50
Group/Organization: MSS-WC (7D10C)
Work Schedule: 4/10s

Summary:
Develops and/or reviews work packages including time, material, and labor estimates, written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and/or safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a given facility or area. Specific planning duties may be related to mechanical, electrical, chemical and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures and may also include resolving work restraints and bringing work packages to final closure.

Minimal lifting (25 pounds) will be expected to walk upstairs and climb ladders
Education:
Position typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum 8 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At this level, post graduate course work may be desirable.
Area Security Access:
The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance. An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties.
