Edgewood Manor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking to hire for an excellent Director of Social Services to join alongside our team of excellent caregivers!

Responsibilities include:
- Organizing and developing the social service department in accordance with all current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
- Tracking residents from admission through discharge with regard to quality of life and quality of care.
- Addressing any issues or concerns that are brought up by families or residents.
- Scheduling and setting up care conferences and family meetings
- Must be able to communicate and coordinate effectively with other Department Managers.
- This position reports directly to the facility Administrator/Executive Director.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years experience with social services in a skilled nursing setting.
- LSW is preferred but not required.
