Edison Smart is hiring on behalf of a US-based client seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer with direct expertise in AVEVA OASyS systems. This is a contract role supporting mission-critical infrastructure within the energy and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
You’ll be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting AVEVA OASyS SCADA systems, with hands-on involvement in graphics updates, database optimization, and control network diagnostics. The role demands a strong understanding of control system integration, I/O wiring, and field device behavior. You'll also support system health checks, routine backups, and contribute to compliance documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with AVEVA OASyS SCADA
- Strong troubleshooting skills across serial, Ethernet, and wireless networks
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA graphics development
- Familiarity with third-party control system integration
- Solid grounding in electrical and controls engineering
- Awareness of OT cybersecurity practices (patching, backups, access control)
