Edith’s Mexican Buffet is looking for a Dishwasher to join our team in Pharr, TX.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and stock equipment and supplies as needed.
- Operate all kitchen equipment in a safe manner and follow proper food safety procedures.
- Wash and sanitize all dishes and utensils.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations governing employment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the head cook or cook shift supervisor.
Required Skills:
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen with an active kitchen staff.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work any shift, including nights and weekends.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, push, pull, and twist while standing for length of time.
- Ability to work with various types of food products including but not limited to fish, chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, lobster, scallops, shrimp and other seafood items.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
