This position is primarily responsible for supporting/covering the day-to-day activities required of the front desk by performing the following duties, personally.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Highschool Diploma
Experience
- One or more years of experience working with children.
Other Requirements
- Must possess or have the ability to possess a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Preferred Requirements
- One or more years of teaching experience
- Bachelor's degree
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS
- Provide appropriate classroom instruction for subjects and grade level taught.
- Maintain a safe and re
- Maintains as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to which they are assigned.
- Teaches lessons outlines and described in the substitute teacher’s folder as prepared by the absent teacher.
- Assumes responsibility for overseeing pupil behavior in class and during lunch and recess periods.
- Follows all policies and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practices dictate.
Working Conditions
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, crouch, bend, walking up and down stairs/ramps, talk, hear, operate a computer, hand-held learning devices and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
