What are the responsibilities and job description for the Courier/Operator position at EDM Americas, Inc?
This is a shared courier/mail room operator role.
The courier is responsible for the movement of boxes using company vehicle, picks up mail at post office, delivers packages to client's facilities.
Courier Essential Duties:
- Move boxes to and from facilities, make pickups at post office
- Assign boxes to proper location using handheld scanner
- Load/unload trucks for shipping and receiving
- Maintain proficient knowledge of assigned procedures
- Recognize and report problems and issues typical to a given process
- Interact with other team members as necessary to accomplish goals
- Must strictly follow workflow and chain of command
The mail room operator includes the following job assignments:
Machine Operator - Prep/Scan - Responsible for the preparation and sorting of incoming paper documents based on client specific requirements. Responsible for the scanning of paper documents based on client specific requirements.
