Deliver engaging instruction using diverse teaching methods, create and tailor supplementary resources to meet student needs, and continuously improve projects for program effectiveness.
Develop and implement lesson plans, prepare course materials, and manage lab resources while following tool control policies.
Instruct and reinforce workplace safety best practices, including hazard awareness, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the safe operation, maintenance, and handling of power and hand tools.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment by modeling respectful behavior, reinforcing expectations, and addressing student conduct to support self-esteem, responsibility, and safety.
Support students in building self-esteem and responsible behavior by modeling appropriate conduct, maintaining a fair and effective classroom environment, reinforcing expectations, and addressing student behavior as needed to ensure safety.
Make appropriate adjustments within the program that support student learning and recommend additional resources or assistance for students when needed.

- DESCRIPTION:** Seeking an experienced construction professional to train the next generation of the trades industry workforce. Working closely with the Administrator, the Facilitator 2 develops and delivers hands-on training and classroom instruction to support the Construction Pre-Apprenticeship (CAP) Program. The CAP program is designed to prepare students with foundational skills for employment in the construction industry. Graduates would be prepared to begin an apprenticeship program upon completion of CAP. This professional exempt position reports to the Associate Director of Trades and Training.
