General Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the Clinical Supervisor and in partnership with K-LINK (Klickitat Community Link Project) and WAGAP (Washington Gorge Action Partners), the Specialist will help create a trauma-informed and welcoming space for community members and partner agencies. The Specialist will also support internal operations for the Community Roots Wellness Hub (CRWH), a multi-agency home designed to increase community member access to mental and behavioral health services and other community-based activities and resources.
Salary:
The full compensation range for this position is $23.95 p/hr - $29.14 p/hr. Offers are made at the entry level of the range.
Assignment:
This is a limited duration position that will work a maximum of 600 hours. Hours will vary, up to 25 hours per week (5-hour shifts), to include some evening and weekend availability for special projects and events. The person in this role is a vital part of the operations of the community hub. The ideal candidate displays a passion for advocating for health equity and dismantling systemic barriers. They are willing to work with diverse populations, including survivors of violence, immigrants and refugees, youth, individuals without housing, and 2SLGBTQIA . Good communication and organizational skills are essential.
Regular attendance required: This role relies on regular and reliable attendance to ensure consistency for our community members.
Essential Functions/Other Functions
Essential Function:
- Engage in routine phone, clerical, and record keeping work to include quarterly review of emergency contact information, management of calendars for use of common spaces, and review of provider-specific information for referrals.
- Manage CRWH social media, to include content creation and monitoring of social media presence.
- Develop and maintain data collection process to include both client focused use and agency focused use.
- Develop and process documents, compile and manage data, and prepare leadership meeting materials.
- Track tasks and projects from development through implementation.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Hub providers, clients, and the general public.
- Oversee and coordinate regular cleaning of the CRWH building, handling of maintenance issues, and maintaining building supplies.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience using Microsoft office programs and managing databases.
- Experience in a customer service environment.
- Experience with social media management.
- Bilingual.
- Experience working with diverse populations including Survivors of Violence, Immigrants and Refugees, Youth, Individuals without Housing, 2SLGBTQIA .
- Office environment.
- Frequent use of computer/keyboard, telephone, printer, and other office equipment.
- Frequent lifting, pushing and pulling under 10 lbs. and occasionally up to 20 lbs.
- Evening and weekend hours as needed.
- Successful completion of a criminal history and fingerprint check through the Washington State Patrol and FBI.
