Edustaff is eagerly seeking to hire Substitute Teachers with the Saint Joseph School District!

- Perform a variety of duties in assisting a licensed teacher in the implementation and support of instructional programs for students in group or one-on-one settings.
- Prepare instructional materials, maintain classroom discipline, and lead planned activities designated by a licensed teacher.
- Help develop and maintain a positive school-wide learning environment.
All Substitute Teachers MUST meet the following qualifications:
- Must have a current teaching certificate
- OR apply for a Content Substitute Teacher Certificate through the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE). (36 college credit hours or 20 hour online class through DESE to apply for certificate is required)
- To apply for work in the SJSD, you must undergo a background check (fingerprinting) using the 4-Digit Registration Number Code for SJSD 0229
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $115.00 per day
Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
