The Role:
The Global Sales Account Manager is responsible for providing a key account with the appropriate level of technical, business and service support to ensure the continuation and expansion of Edwards business as well as ensuring customer satisfaction with Edwards products and Services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Acts as the primary point of contact for the Edwards CED commodity manager at customer site.
- Negotiates and manages the corporate purchasing agreement in collaboration with the Business Line Manager, as well as with other key Edwards managers.
- Tracks and reports out quarterly scorecard. Key activities include accurate and timely submission of necessary information. This includes reporting of total cost of ownership programs, CIPs (continuous improvement programs), OTD (capital and spares on-time delivery), etc.
- Coordinates regular reviews between Edwards Sr. Management and appropriate contacts within key account's Capital Equipment Development (CED) group.
- Coordinates/attends/presents Virtual Factory ramp readiness summits as required.
- Ensures all quotations/new business discussions with Intel align with Edwards Corporate goals and the overall account strategy for Edwards Key Account Team.
- Fields all escalations from CED commodity management and drive resolution as need.
- Maintains/grows market per Corporate and Account Team Strategy.
- Meets sales, cash flow, and profitability goals for key account.
- Supports Edwards Safety and Environmental goals. Achieves through personal performance as well as through reinforcement of goals within key account team.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key customer contacts.
- Directs/Liaises customer needs/issues to account team as needed.
- Manages directly a team of sales specialists, account managers, and project engineers in support of global account team sales
- Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance; works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Respectfully takes direction from [supervisor/ manager] and other duties as assigned.

Education level
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree level education in technical discipline. Masters Degree preferred in engineering or business.
Relevant Previous experience
- Minimum 7 years experience in semiconductor or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience managing a global team or global project.
Knowledge areas/Skills
- Clear people management experience and capabilities.
- Customer negotiation experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English language, written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to handle heavy workloads, prioritize own work and professionally communicate with customers.
- A flexible approach, able to cope with a constantly changing environment and priorities.
- Ability to work independently, while also being able to judge when additional support is required.
- Team player who is keen to work closely with internal partners.
Other requirements
- Sales or marketing experience is highly desirable.
