Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring they run efficiently and safely.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to create accurate programs.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve processes and reduce cycle times.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Document programming changes and maintain accurate records of production data.
- Train and mentor junior staff on CNC programming and machine operation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role.
- Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is preferred.
