What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator position at Effy Jewelry?
Service Provider will have the title of “Logistics Coordinator” and as such:
Will report to the VP, Supply Chain and Logistics and the Director of Logistics and will assume the responsibility of ensuring logistical timeliness and efficiency across the brand. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Planning, packing, and arranging the shipment of merchandise and supplies to all global retail locations.
- Regular review of supply/promotional/marketing material on hand across all retail locations to determine replenishment needs and fulfilling them as required.
- Maintaining accurate inventory of all supplies located at HQ, 3PL, and other locations as required.
- Work with Director of Logistics and the VP, Supply Chain and Logistics on any logistical roadblocks of allocated supplies
- Assist in the preparation of shipping labels and documents for exports and imports.
- Ensure the Merchandising team is aware of timelines required to meet scheduled loading dates.
- Ensuring that the ERP system is regularly and consistently updated with order status.
- Scheduling and preparing regular shipments of supplies based on loading schedules and transit times in collaboration with warehouse personnel.
- Work with freight/logistics companies and team members on any logistical delivery issues
- Communicate with onboard team members to ensure deliveries are received accordingly.
- Ad-hoc project management as needed.

- 3-4 years of career experience in a logistics-focused or related role or warehouse setting
- Proficient/advanced computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- ERP system familiarity (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central experience is a plus!)
- Must be proficient in English – speaking, reading, writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail, and strong oral and written communication skills
- A “roll up your sleeves” work ethic with a desire for growth and personal development
- The ability to work independently with minimal direction, as well as within a team setting
- The willingness to work outside of the conventional “9am – 5pm” workday as needed
- Excellent project management and prioritization skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and comfortably lift 50-75lbs boxes if needed
- This is an on-site position based in New York City.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
