Salary: $80,000 - $95,000

We are looking for an experienced production artist who can support our creative team to execute a wide array of design projects. You will be responsible for creating and editing graphics and images for a variety of media, including emails, digital ads, and print collaterals. This includes, but is not limited to, data entry, typesetting, image manipulation, art creation or modification and asset versioning. Must be creative, and technical with excellent computer skills and knowledge of relevant software applications, including InDesign, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator. The production artist must have the ability to multitask on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment and work well under pressure.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and produce design layouts that support the project objectives
• Work with brand standards and guidelines
• Work closely with creative / art directors, copywriters and marketing directors to execute the creative vision
• Prep final files to supply specifications for various print and digital formats
• Reformat supplied artwork and photo project specifications
• Create PDFs for creative review
• Retouch, clip paths, and make adjustments to image files
• Collect final artwork and manage the asset management system to ensure design work can be used in future projects
• Work efficiently through high volumes, meeting tight deadlines
• Attend weekly team meetings to ensure clear communication of deliverables and progress
• Create layout comps, rough and presentation materials as requested
• Maintain accuracy in page building and error-free documents
• Make corrects and modifications to team markup as requested
• Demonstrate the ability to perform well and remain organized under tight deadlines
• Act as liaison between the creative team and pre-press (for printed projects)

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 3-5 years of related experience and/or training
• Expert Proficiency in all Mac-based, industry-standard software programs including, but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop Illustrator), Figma, Microsoft Office, and Acrobat.
• Knowledge of the Windows platform
• Experience in project management tool (Asana)
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (speak, read, and write)
• Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated drive for perfection
• Strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Ability to prepare art for print/ production or manufacture
• General knowledge of substrates and media
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Previous image retouching experience is a plus.
