School offers programs from Toddler to 5th grade on three campuses located in Watertown and Cambridge. We are accredited by the French Ministry of Education and part of the Agence pour l'Enseignement Français à l'Étranger (AEFE). Job summary
The teacher assistant will support the teacher in helping the children to acquire basic skills. The teacher assistant will pay particular attention to each child's individual needs.
Duties
- Assist the teacher in completing daily's duty tasks
- Collaborate with the teacher in setting a meaningful learning environment
- Guide the children in activities so they can achieve proficiency in their own development
- Participate in the implementation of the french curriculum
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma
- French fluency, conversational english
- Strong communication skills
- Prior experience in a preschool is preferred
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Hands-on approach
