Full-time! 32hours a week: 8am-4:30pm, rotating weekends!
Job Duties:
- Manage the documentation and Quality of Life needs of assigned residents.
- Participate in the management of clients’ needs at the Redies Center
- Lead or assist with groups of Long-Term clients.
- Manage time/assignments effectively.
- Pushing/pulling loads up to 50 pounds
- Transporting residents to and from activities.
- Comfortable facilitating activities
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Enjoys working with the senior population
- Good fine motor skills
- 6 months experience in a life enrichment department/skilled nursing or senior living setting
- Creative mind that enjoys coming up with new ideas and fun ways to engage with our residents
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to play an instrument or sing is a plus!
- Experience working as a camp counselor facilitating activities is a plus!
- Currently enrolled in a Therapeutic Recreation program, Gerontology program, or has completed Mepap 1 for NCCAP is a plus!
