Eisen – Lansing, Michigan is accepting applications for a CAD Technician who has a desire to be a team member designing metal components, plastic and steel assemblies, and larger fabricated consumer products.
Duties:
We are seeking an effective designer with technical ability, communication skills, and project tracking experience. You should be able to quickly take ownership of assigned projects without extensive supervision, and have a track record of delivering results within given timeframe. Day to day tasks would include:
- CAD modeling: drafting and detail 3D models/drawings
- Documentation: Create Bill of Materials, drawings, quality and assembly instructions;
- Prototyping: Machine shop prototyping with sheet-metal, milling, and some welding.

Educational Requirements:
- Associate degree with good math skills
- Proficient working experience with Solidworks
Additional Requirements:
Have minimum 3-5 year(s) experience working as a CAD Technician drafting and detailing small components or equivalent education. Some supervisory experience, and well developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
