Residential Supervisor
Residential Supervisor Role and Responsibilities:
Residential oversight (all residents):
- Directly oversee, supervise and train unit management per corporate standards with emphasis on accountability to job descriptions for each title.
- Serve as a leader and role model of:
- Professionalism
- Boundary establishment with residents and coworkers who serve below them in the agency.
- Ensuring rationally detached and productive interactions with colleagues and residents.
- Accountability to job duties that incorporate disciplinary actions per Human Resources processes and recommendations
- Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to HIPAA policy and to work rules that incorporate disciplinary actions with the HIPAA regulations
- Documentation for assigned units:
- Ensures presentation of accurate completion of PCCLS, LOS and other documents required for prompt residential billing.
- Ensures delivery those documents in a timely fashion that is consistent with company expectations delineated by the RCM department.
- Ensure that assigned residential units run in accordance with uniform corporate standards.
- Compliance with AFC licensing, CARF and standards of other funding sources as directed.
- Oversee the maintenance of a safe and hygienic living environment for residents on the unit.
- Advocate for and ensure the rights of residents according to internal and external rights and grievance standards.
- Medical and Clinical Plans of Care:
- Ensure that funder, medical, and clinical plans of care are followed by staff assigned to assigned residential units ensuring enhanced independence, quality of life and community integration.
- Medical and Clinical plans of care will be followed on residential units only per development and training completed my medical and clinical team members.
- Ensures that resident’s level of supervision is only changed through clinical processes and approval by the clinical team, except in the event of after-hours emergencies where management on call may make temporary changes.

- Maintain resident records in accordance with corporate, state, federal, funding and accrediting body standards that allow for billing of residential services.
- Participate in facility-wide on-call systems including:
- Reporting and facilitating resolution of significant issues to the appropriate medical, clinical and higher management team members on call at the same time.
- Assist with problem solving to ensure residential units run at optimum capacity.
- Has passed the medication administration class and proctored test leading to the ability to pass medications to residents per instructions on the Medication Administration Record.
- Additional tasks as assigned
Auto-no fault case management oversight:
- Serve as the primary contact for external stakeholders regarding status, progress, recommendations, and discharge planning with the team.
- Ensure external stake-holder satisfaction.
- Complete weekly contact notes in the electronic medical record.
- Develop and conduct discharge planning as needed with the internal and external stakeholders. Ensure timeliness, appropriateness, and efficacy.
- Produce quarterly reports, displaying individualized multi-disciplinary progress, to review progress (as required per resident clinical and funding needs).
- Produce quarterly multi-disciplinary meetings to review progress (as required per resident clinical and funding needs).
- Acquire scripts required for residential and clinical services.
CMH Resident Participation:
- Partner with each resident’s Clinical Case Manager to assist with developing a plan of care for each resident on unit’s managed.
- In a timely fashion, facilitate back feedback to each resident’s Clinical Case Manager on areas of improvement or needs that are conveyed to unit staff during visits by external team members that Clinical Case Manager may not have been present for but allows for CCM to follow up and resolve.
- Participate on the IPOS team.
- Ensure that the IPOS and other clinical goals are implemented with the residential unit staff, as trained by clinical team members.
Residential Supervisor Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- 2 years of management experience
- 3 years of residential experience
Residential Supervisor Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Management
- Commitment to professional boundaries.
- Excellent executive functioning skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Timeliness and commitment to deadlines
- All other related duties as assigned

Salary : $48,300 - $61,100
