SUMMARY
This job consists of performing all clerical functions of a Distribution Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operates PC based shipping scale
- Keeps an accurate log of daily traffic transactions
- Verifies weights of product/scrap received and shipped
- Prepares and reviews shipping documents
- Receives and directs incoming calls to appropriate personnel
- Helps service customers including truck drivers
- Prepares outgoing mail
- Assists Office Manager with all general office tasks
- Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement with regard to a safe work environment. Ensures employees understand the safety expectations of the organization.
- Promotes the company culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
