EJF Maintenance, part of a well established, rapidly growing real estate company in the District of Columbia is seeking responsible, organized and detail oriented individuals to join our fun/hard working staff as a Maintenance Technician. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to travel locally to support our client needs. YOU WILL LOVE YOUR JOB!
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring we maintain and preserve properties throughout the District of Columbia. Every day is an opportunity for you to ensure every property and resident is provided with superior customer service and a clean and well-maintained community which fosters the on-going positive relationship we seek with our clients.
This position will support the property management team and rental department in delivering an exceptional product and unparalleled service on a consistent and timely basis. This role will ensure the physical integrity of our communities by maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the communities. In addition, the role will diagnose problems and make repairs including drywall repair, installing and repairing flooring, plumbing, electrical, locks and carpentry.

Requirements
Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. with at least two years hands on general maintenance experience to include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and painting.
Must be proficient with smartphone and possess good technical/computer skills to include.
Strong verbal communication skills. required. Must be able to read, write and speak in the English language.
Must be able to pass background check.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and possess a clean driving record.
Must have your own tools and reliable transportation. (Proper auto insurance is required).
Other certifications preferred. (HVAC, Electrical, etc.).
