We are currently seeking a skilled Production Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Associate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of stamping tooling within the department. This role involves managing a team of tooling technicians, ensuring proper setup of tooling, maintenance, and repair of stamping tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize tooling processes and support efficient production operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all activities related to stamping tooling within the department.
- Manage a team of tooling technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Ensure proper setup of stamping tooling for production runs, including tool changes and adjustments.
- Conduct regular maintenance and repair of stamping tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and maintenance, to optimize tooling processes and support efficient production operations.
- Monitor tooling performance and identify opportunities for improvement or optimization.
- Maintain accurate records of tooling inventory, maintenance schedules, and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations related to tooling operations.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement corrective actions as needed to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tooling processes and overall production efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Proven experience in stamping tooling or a related field.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Solid understanding of stamping tooling principles, processes, and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to tooling operations.
Working Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm
Compensation: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
