We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate with proven pick, pack, and ship experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, including handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with various warehouse tasks as needed. Additionally, we may be considering candidates for a Utility role in the near future, so versatility and adaptability are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick, pack, and ship orders according to established procedures and standards.
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Accurately record received goods into the inventory management system and ensure proper storage.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, organizing shelves, and disposing of packing materials.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks using forklifts or other equipment as required.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for all staff.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Prepare orders for shipment by packaging items securely and labeling them accurately.
- Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment, preferably in a pick/pack/ship role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, up to [insert weight limit] pounds.
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Prior experience in a Utility role or willingness to cross-train in various warehouse tasks is a plus.
Working hours: Can Start as Early 6:30AM or as late as 9AM- Work 8 hour shift ; 2nd Shift PT-4PM - 8PM & 3rd Shift: 10PM-6:30AM
Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
