POSITION SUMMARY:
The Patient Care Technician is competent to perform both as a Unit Secretary, Certified Nursing Assistant or Emergency Room Technician. The Patient Care Technician is flexible and may be assigned as a unit secretary, certified nursing assistant, or in a dual position where both skills are utilized simultaneously. The Patient Care Technician performs these duties under the direction of the Charge Nurse/Clinical Manager.
The Patient Care Technician will assist the licensed nursing staff in performing basic patient care and related work as required under supervision of RN/Charge Nurse. The Patient Care Technician will perform specific clerical and reception functions under the direction of the Charge Nurse/Clinical Manager. S/he requisitions supplies, equipment and services as directed.

Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. - Emergency Medical Technician or California Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant or National Registry EMT or Paramedic
- Medical Terminology class or one (1) year experience in medical related field
- CPR (American Heart Association)
