Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Engineering Intern to support the Quality team in ensuring purchased materials, components, and assemblies meet all required specifications. This role provides hands-on exposure to supplier quality processes, inspection methods, data analysis, and supplier performance activities. The intern will work closely with Quality Engineers, Inspectors, Procurement, and Engineering to assist with daily task and ongoing projects. You must be a self-starting problem solver to find innovative solutions to quality-related issues. Strong communication skills are essential to understand requirements and expectations, make progress reports and present findings.

Intern Responsibilities May Include
- Support Incoming inspection activities including reviewing drawings and specifications
- Assist Quality Engineers with supplier issues, including root cause and corrective actions
- Track supplier performance metrics
- Support engineering teams with FAI’s
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts reducing defects from suppliers
- Assist with defect data analytics and material to be presented by engineers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering
- Participate and interact with other interns in sector wide activities
- Develop understanding of our Quality Management System
