Description
The Activities Aide Assists the Activity Director in planning and executing recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs for all residents.
Full-Time and Part-Time Available!
Job Qualifications:
Good verbal and written communication skills, including writing in a manner suitable for documentation.
Working knowledge of and ability to assume a leadership role in conducting a variety of activities such as crafts, creative expression, music, games and gardening.
Completion of Activity Coordinator Training course desired.
Current CPR and First Aid Certificates desired.
Feeding training (we provide)
Good interpersonal skills including group dynamics and teamwork.
Cheerfulness, positive attitude and ability to motivate people.
Genuine liking and respect for the elderly and physically and mentally challenged.
Current driver license and good driving record.
Ability to work independently and with supervision.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
