Overview:
Working directly with the owners and a small team of chefs, you'll be a crucial part of our food production team. We are looking for someone who is comfortable and confident in the kitchen, with great knife skills, a strong ability to self-organize and stay tidy, and a passion for making delicious food. The menu is a constantly rotating offering, and we will rely on you to execute dishes that are critical to our customers’ experience and understanding of our food.

We are looking for someone we can trust, who will work hard, is adaptable, is receptive to feedback, and who has a strong understanding and mastery of culinary basics, and can cook delicious food and follow recipes well. Duties
- Prepare and contribute to the development and execution of menu items, including proteins, soups, salads, and cooked vegetables
- Form and assemble hors d'oeuvres, including pastry based dishes like turnovers and miniature pies.
- Contribute to daily kitchen activities, including stock assessment, food preparation, and presentation
- Work with your front of house colleagues to ensure deli and cases are well stocked
- Maintain ingredients--package them to insure their freshness, communicate inventory needs, and minimize food waste.
- Follow health and safety regulations within the kitchen to ensure a safe working environment.
- Clean up after yourself
Experience
- Proven experience in culinary roles
- Strong background in different kitchen environments, including high-volume and small batch cooking
- Proficiency in food production techniques, including knowledge of various cooking methods and presentation styles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
