Job Title: Live-in Private Pay Caregiver
Location: Downingtown, PA
Schedule: Sunday-Sunday/ 8 AM - 8 AM
Salary: $220.00 per day
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and professional caregiver to care for a 69-year-old Male. This is a private pay position requiring attention to detail and a compassionate approach to care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Companion and Homemaking Services:
Companion and Homemaking Services:
- Must have the ability to provide companionship
- Must assist with meal preparation and clean up
- Must assist with Light housekeeping
- Must assist with Grocery shopping and general shopping
- Must assist with Errand services
- Must be able to provide medication reminders
- Must assist with medical appointments
- Respite care at a minimum of two weeks
- Must Provide safety monitoring and supervision
- Help with clothing selection and clothes shopping
- Be able to Assist with Transportation
- Recreational activities and crafts
- Escort on social outings
- Must Retrieve mail
Personal Care Services:
- assist with bathing
- assist with grooming
- assist with toileting
- Provide incontinence care
- must be able to lift 300lbs and/or use a Hoyer lift
- assist/supervise a patient with walking, transferring, and positioning
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of Caregiving experience
- Must have a CNA/HHA/PCT certificate
- Must be able to provide proof of residency
- Score an 80% or higher on Caregiver Competency Exam
- Knowledge of CPAP and catheter maintenance is preferred.
- Must report to work on time/have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a PA/FBI background check
- Strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work consecutive or non-consecutive nights as needed.
