We’re growing! Electroform is seeking an additional skilled CMM Operator to support our expanding quality and inspection capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in quality control and inspection, utilizing Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure precision and adherence to specifications across our manufacturing processes. This role plays an important part in strengthening our quality team and maintaining the high standards that support our continued growth. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CMM machines to inspect parts accurately.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for measurement.
- Perform dimensional inspections and evaluate measurements against tolerances.
- Document inspection results and generate reports for quality assurance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor CMM equipment issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols
- Assist in the development of quality control procedures and documentation.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in operating CMM machines and performing inspections.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing or technical exposure is a plus but not required.
