SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Polisher to join our team. The Polisher will be responsible for performing polishing and finishing tasks on various metal parts and components. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in operating a range of equipment and tools.
1st shift - full time - $20/hr
DUTIES:
- Polish and finish metal parts using various techniques, such as sanding, buffing, and grinding
- Operate machinery and equipment, including stamping presses, lathes, CNC machines, electrical discharge machines, forklifts, precision measuring instruments, laser cutting machines, and more
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience as a Polisher or in a similar role preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of polishing techniques
- Ability to operate various machinery and tools with precision
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate results
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
