Element6's client is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Brookfield, WI. This individual will be responsible for designing, supporting, delivering, and maintaining our client's IT infrastructure, including network, domain, servers, storage and operational requests.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an IT Infrastructure delivery and / or support role.
- Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in an IT infrastructure delivery, design or support role for on-premise and / or cloud infrastructure.
- Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in and supporting Microsoft, Linux or server clusters.
- Minimum of 1 years’ proven experience with CI / CD pipelines; preferably within Azure DevOps.
- Minimum of 1 years’ proven experience of year of creating automated environment deployment processes with tools such as Terraform.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience with core access and identity components such as Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP & DFS.
- Minimum 1 year’s proven experience installing and / or supporting VMWare and Cisco Networking Equipment, including routers, switches and firewalls.
- Minimum 1 year’s experience with storage LUN creation, vSAN stretched clustering, storage disk utilization and management. Preferred VPLEX experience as well.
- Demonstrated understanding of enterprise networking – routing protocols & traffic flow, VLAN and subnet management. Preferred working knowledge of SDWAN.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to branches.
- On-call availability for emergency support calls 24 / 7 with a half hour response time and off-hours availability for maintenance windows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to use judgment and discretion in various situations while
- maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
- Demonstrated experience in balancing multiple priorities and managing a variety of projects in a high-volume work environment with strong attention to detail.
- Must have a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate
- to the position. Must understand and comply with all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.
